LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday, granted No Objection Certificate (NOC) to five national cricketers, including Mohammad Amir, to participate in overseas franchise leagues.

Amir, who last represented Pakistan in ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, is all set to participate in the Lanka T10 Super League 2024 as him, alongside Asif Ali, Umar Akmal and Imran Khan Sr, has been given a go-ahead by the PCB.

Amir will represent Jaffna Titans in the upcoming tournament, while Asif is a part of Colombo Jaguars’ squad.

Besides them, the PCB also granted NOC to all-rounder Faheem Ashraf to participate in the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), scheduled to run from December 30 to February 7, 2025.

Imran Khan Snr - Lanka T10 (11 Dec 2024-19 Dec 2024)

Mohammad Amir - Lanka T10 (12 Dec 2024-22 Dec 2024)

Faheem Ashraf - BPL (30 Dec 2024-7 Feb 2025)

Notably, the five players, granted NOC by the PCB, are not included in Pakistan’s squads for the upcoming all-format South Africa tour.

The full-fledge tour is comprised of three T20Is, as many ODIs and two Tests, scheduled to run from December 10 to January 7, 2025.
